Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 June – Armed Forces Weekend

This is still in the planning stage so look out for updates on participants.

Sunday 21 July – Cherry Festival

Take a tour, sample and purchase cherries grown on site. In addition to the restaurant we will be serving a BBQ.

Sunday 11 August – Plum Day

Take a tour, once again sample and purchase the cherries grown on site. In addition to the restaurant we will be serving a BBQ.

Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 August – Cider Festival

An event not to be missed, always a very popular weekend with on site music, micro breweries serving the very best of local ciders and ales. In addition to the restaurant we will be serving a BBQ.

Sunday 15 September – Pear Day

Always a good day to sample and buy delicious pears.

Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 October – The Famous Apple Festival

An event not to be missed with over 2,500 varieties of apples being grown on site.

Sunday 3 November – Remembrance Service within the Courtyard

Representatives of veteran branches and standards will be on parade, all are welcome to attend.

Special Announcements 2016

BBQ Dates

As from June we will be holding an all day BBQ, to include breakfast and lunch time options, some of the barbecues may have lunch time entertainment, we will keep you updated. Check the Upcoming Events panel (right) for dates in the diary.

Every Monday from 15 February excluding Bank Holidays

We will be offering the over 65s a two course meal from the menu of the day, for the special price of £8.50. This is a new addition and should not be missed.

Whist Evening

A fun evening of whist, no gambling involved. If you don’t know how to play, don’t worry it’s easy and can be taught very quickly. Come by yourself, bring friends, the more the merrier.

Being held at the Courtyard Restaurant, Brogdale Farm, Brogdale Road, ME13 8XZ
£5 per head, includes nibbles and a prize for the winner

Upcoming Events

Easter Festival – 25/26/27 March (Fri – Sun)

Meet bottle fed lambs and other cute Easter animals in the Barn, take part in the Easter Trail around the orchards and take home some Spring Crafts that you have made in the Arts & Craft Area. Full details coming early 2016.


Hanami Festival – 16 April

This one day Hanami Festival brings the Hanami Picnic experience to life with music, sword demonstrations, tea ceremonies and art, for one day only!


Strawberry Fair 12 June (Sun)

Celebrate some of the first fruits of the season at Brogdale with entertainment, music, local producers and some delicious local strawberries!


Cherry Day – 17 July (Sunday)

Celebrate over 400 varieties of Cherry at Brogdale with entertainment, live music, local producers and a display of cherries like you have never seen!


Cider Festival – 27 – 28 August (Sat and Sun)

Local Artisan Ciders and Live Music all weekend! Entertainment for the whole family with a little festival goers area, talks, demos and local shopping!


Apple Festival 15 – 16 October (Sat – Sun)

2016 will see a record breaking Display of One Thousand Apple Varieties! Discover something new and tasty with ‘try before you buy’ from around 70 apple varieties, fill a bag with your favourites to take home! Celebrity chef Paul Rankin will also be here to amaze you with some fantastic seasonal recipe demonstrations.

Enjoy Live Music, Tours of the Orchards, Local Food and Entertainment over the whole weekend. Children can get crafty and have their face painted in the Little Festival Goers Area too, something for the whole family.
